Where healthcare innovation becomes population health impact

We intervene
where inequity
enters the pipeline.

Health inequity is not just a medical failure. It is a data, systems, and design failure. Every Mosaic Health Partners service targets a specific stage in the health pipeline where bias enters — and removes it before it reaches a patient.

Why Mosaic

Healthcare innovation is only as strong as the evidence it is built on. Technologies, research, and health systems should not be considered ready until they have been designed, tested, and implemented across the populations they are intended to serve.

From evidence to implementation
Mosaic is led by both a physician and an epidemiologist because healthcare innovation succeeds or fails at multiple points along its lifecycle. One founder brings the perspective of clinical practice and patient care. The other brings expertise in epidemiology, research methodology, and evidence generation. Together, we help organizations strengthen the pathway from innovation to population health impact.
Public health methodology, brought into modern healthcare
Engineers build technologies. Researchers generate evidence. Health systems implement change. Mosaic brings the methodological discipline of population health into each stage through epidemiology, representative study design, subgroup analysis, implementation science, and organizational transformation.
Design. Validate. Operationalize.
We do more than develop recommendations. We help organizations design better technologies, validate stronger evidence, and operationalize lasting change. From governance structures and research infrastructure to implementation frameworks and performance measurement systems, we build the conditions for innovation to create measurable population health impact.

We intervene at specific stages of the pipeline.

Stages 01–02

Health Technology & Algorithm Equity

Build health technologies that work across the populations they are meant to serve.

We help health technology companies identify bias before products reach clinical practice through population-centered algorithm evaluation, validation, and evidence-based design.

Core Capabilities
  • Training data representation
  • Algorithm and proxy variable bias assessment
  • Subgroup performance evaluation
  • Population-level safety analysis
  • Clinical implementation readiness
Stages 01–03

Clinical Research & Evidence Infrastructure

Build evidence that reflects the populations it is meant to serve.

We build the research infrastructure needed to generate inclusive evidence, from study design through participant recruitment, implementation, and real-world evaluation.

Core Capabilities
  • Study design and protocol development
  • Inclusive recruitment strategy and operations
  • Community-engaged research
  • Real-world evidence generation
  • Evaluation and subgroup analysis
  • Clinical data infrastructure
Stages 02–04

Health Systems Strategy & Implementation

Turn evidence into measurable organizational change.

We help health systems operationalize health equity through implementation strategy, measurement frameworks, and organizational transformation that improves outcomes across populations.

Core Capabilities
  • Strategic planning and implementation
  • Equity measurement systems
  • Organizational assessment
  • Clinical practice transformation
  • Implementation evaluation
  • Executive dashboards and KPI development

Who we work with

The organizations shaping the future of healthcare.

Most healthcare organizations don’t set out to create inequities. They emerge when populations disappear from the evidence — long before a technology reaches a patient. We partner with organizations designing technologies, generating evidence, implementing change, and funding innovation across the healthcare ecosystem. Together, these institutions determine who healthcare works for and how equitable outcomes are achieved.

Digital Health & Health Technology

Organizations developing AI-enabled diagnostics, digital health platforms, and clinical technologies that must demonstrate equitable performance across the populations they are intended to serve.

Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences

Pharmaceutical sponsors, biotechnology companies, and contract research organizations generating representative clinical evidence and strengthening research that meets evolving regulatory expectations.

Academic & Research Institutions

Medical schools, research institutions, and academic medical centers designing inclusive studies, generating real-world evidence, and translating research into clinical practice.

Health Systems

Health systems, integrated delivery networks, accountable care organizations, and payers operationalizing evidence through implementation, governance, performance measurement, and organizational transformation.

Community Health Organizations

Community health centers, FQHCs, public health agencies, and nonprofit organizations strengthening programs, building organizational capacity, and translating equity commitments into sustainable community impact.

Foundations

Philanthropic organizations investing in research, healthcare innovation, and systems change that produce lasting improvements in population health.
